Shahnameh started at home with Sima, a mom with a love for cooking Persian food and bringing people together around the table. What began as a small home business soon grew into something bigger, and together with her children, she opened Shahnameh.
From one home kitchen to three family-run businesses today, it has always been about family, growing together, and sharing the recipes that started it all.
Our Story
Named after the great Persian epic, Shahnameh brings the timeless traditions of Persian cuisine to the heart of Bahrain. Every dish is a verse — crafted with saffron, slow-cooked meats, and recipes passed through generations.
